Ho’opono Beauty Bar is my dream come true, after 15 long years of dreaming, wishing and hoping, I officially hung my open sign in February of 2021, after my corporate career of 10 years fell victim to the covid-19 pandemic. Truly the biggest blessing in disguise. 

Ho'opono's Mission

I truly believe skin care, waxing and body treatments are one-size fits ALL. My mission is to educate my clients on the best way to care for themselves and it starts with putting all stereotypes to rest and truly beginning to let go and make right all of the things that society taught us were wrong. 

Ho’opono in the Hawaiian language means to MAKE RIGHT. I invite you to spend some time with me to unravel all of the things society said was wrong for you and lets make it right! No matter your size, color and gender, self-care will always look good on YOU!

My Story

My love for waxing, skin care and body treatments began in intermediate school where I often doodled names for my business to be and spent years watching YouTube videos of “what kind of facials are good for this” and “what kind of wax to use for that” just to name a few. 

I not only wear the title of Estie Bestie but am a proud mom to my spunky 16 year old, Hilina’i and i’m so blessed to share my life with my amazing Husband, Pono for the last 17 years. I was born and raised in beautiful Waimanalo, a sleepy little fishing town on the East Side of the Island of O’ahu. I am a proud Native Hawaiian / Woman owned business with a heart to serve others.
